For the most part I use Xubuntu anymore instead of Windows, and run Steam over the partition with WINE, right? Well, certain games simply won't work with WINE, which is fair, I suppose. So I have to boot into Windows to play the game, no problem (well, it is, but that's a whole other rant), but then it wants to add it as a new computer connecting to my Steam account. So I have to check my emails and put in the little code to authorize that computer for my Steam account. I did that, that's fine, whatever. Then as soon as I was done and logged back into Linux, it made me do it again... and again, every time I switch between operating systems. I'm sorta worried at some point it'll tell me I can only have so many "authorized computers" and lock me out, even though it should count as, at the most, two computers. The stupid thing is that both OSes are literally running the same install of Steam. Same exe, same everything.
