My forever alone comic was posted on the site.

I don't know why this is good, but dammit, IT IS.
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?

Birmingham City qualified for the play-offs.

Okay, technically it's not mathematically secure but our goal difference is about 23 better than Middlesbrough with one game to play, so unless we lose 20-0 to Reading at home or something we're good, and not even Birmingham are capable of messing up that badly.

Finally got paid for the extra gig I had last month, so I was able to get a new pair of pants & shorts! I finally have pants without holes in them!

And I seem to have beaten my cold in the span of a weekend.
Her3tik, you have groupies.

^I friended you on facebook!
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

I've still got 2 $100 bills floating around somewhere in my room my grandma gave me years ago... I can't find the damn things...  Oh well.  It's good to know they're still here.   Somewhere.  Hopefully I'll find them when I need them.. >_>

I got a CD of lullaby covers of a bunch of Metallica songs. "One", "Wherever I May Roam", "Enter Sandman", "Fade to Black", "Nothing Else Matters", "Battery", "The Unforgiven", "Master of Puppets", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)", "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)", and "...And Justice for All". Lovin' the glockenspiel.

This sounds awesome, in that "I'm a horrible person for liking this" sort of way.

So, it's election day in Alberta, and it looks like the Wild Rose Party -- which is even more right wing than the party we normally have, the oxymoron loving Progressive Conservatives -- isn't going to win, as was originally predicted by a number of alleged experts. In fact, CTV is currently projecting a PC majority government.

As much as I would like to see a non-conservative party win (at which point, flocks of pigs will take to the skies, while Satan watches on from an igloo) I'm rather relieved that Wild Rose isn't getting in.

Edit: And it looks like my riding chose PC over Wild Rose. I'm actually slightly surprised, given the number of right wing assholes around here.

Y'all's rightest right wing is probably left of our leftest left wing.

Not in Alberta. We're the toned-down Texas of Canada, complete with oil, ranches, and old dudes who wear cowboy boots & hats everywhere they go.

Granted, Alberta is still more liberal than a very large chunk of the States. Different political dynamic and all that.

In other news, the PC definitely has a majority. I'm still not pleased that this province won't elect a more liberal party & stop being too stubborn to affect any real change, but it's better than the only realistic alternative.

Funny thing is that PC's success is at least partially due to Liberal & NDP supporters voting for them just to keep Wild Rose out.

^^ Blood Money causes epic lag on my crappy laptop, even with the graphics turned way down. Sucks, 'cause a bunch of people have told me that it's the best game of the series.
