I had a long, exhausting, painful afternoon. First I had to go to my doctor's to have a suspicious mole biopsied (I doubt it's serious, mostly just a precaution), then head over to the lab where I had an hour long wait for blood & urine tests and an EKG, and finally take a trip over to an imaging place for a chest x-ray (which involved the whole having to convince the technicians that, no, I'm definitely not pregnant, and here's a bunch of super personal information to prove it ordeal). Between each stop, I also had the joy of waiting around in the hot sun for buses that all seemed to be running late (and, once they arrived, were inevitably filled with loud teenagers). End result is me feeling tired and grumpy from the traveling/waiting around, a sore and bruised arm from blood tests, and a set of irritating stitches where the mole was.
It also doesn't help that I feel like I'm coming down with a cold... or that I had to do all of this on an empty stomach, since the blood tests required fasting beforehand. Bottom line, I feel pretty crappy right now.
