I am thinking it might be some sort of Right Wing Militia Fanatic, driven crazy by the increasingly militaristic, disturbing Tea Party rhetoric. Remember that one Tea Party video that almost seemed like the Hunger Games?

Remember all those extremistic, Randian budgets, screeds, and the general increasing tone of Right Wing desperation? The panicked Republican base has been hurting since Obama beat Romney.

Appears to be a coincidence, at least thus far. I googled the alleged name of the suspect at large and he was a philosophy major at Brown University. Of course, the dead suspect, or possible accomplices, could attend MIT. A lot of this case is still too soon to tell.

EDIT: Some news sources are saying that the name that is being reported is not the suspect, so I removed it just in case.

Apparently the suspects robbed a convenience store and stole an SUV to make their escape.

Either they were planning on causing a spree of chaos until they died, or they didn't plan their getaway very well.
