Regardless, we had a lot of fun. We don't have a mall around here, anymore, so we had to go to a legitimately large city to find one.

I sorta know how you feel... my grandmother died last year, as well. Mom misses her a lot today.

It's a mixed bag with Mum. She was a little nuts, and didn't know the meaning of the word budget... And very religious, and wanted to use religion as a reason for me to be her slave. So not exactly sane...

Apparently I'm supposed to be able to cover a $1000 trip on my own on $9.50 an hour, and take $350 repairs to my car in stride, rather than, y'know, it being a huge hit to our savings.
