Hey, I like King of the Hill. A lot.

You know what needs to DIAF though? Robot Chicken. In fact, most of Adult Swim should just die.

I liked the first three seasons of Robot Chicken, but season four was disappointing. I had to stop watching at that point.

King of the Hill never really appealed to me, I guess because I could never bring myself to enjoy any of the characters.
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?

Well, at least there's not an Annoying Orange / Fred crossover.

Shh, you're gonna give them ideas.

Also, I know reality shows are a given, but I feel the need to mention Toddlers & Tiaras, as disgusting as it is. That type of competition is unhealthy for the parents and kids.

I spoke too soon. Sigh. On the bright side, it's still not on TV... yet...

Ugh! Why did I have to follow that link, now I have an even bigger headache than before.

Also, I give up on television. There is officially nothing worthwhile to watch anymore.
Me too, Tiado.  I rarely watch TV anymore other than non-fiction science/medical type stuff... and racing.

There's still a few things that are salvageable on Discovery.  History Channel too, for that matter.  Gold Rush (and Bering Sea Gold [yes, despite equipment breaking down every other episode and taking the entirety of one to fix it]), Ax Men (sue me, I'm an Oregonian born and bred.  Forestry's always been interesting to me.  Plus chainsaws), American Pickers, American Restoration...

In short, it's not a total loss.  Just most of it.  It's why we ditched our cable and got a Roku box.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

There is nothing I can add here, because I agree 100% with everything here, I find myself watching very little TV anymore.

You have to start watching from the beginning to understand a lot of the jokes. It's one of those series that really pays off if you're a faithful viewer.

Come to think of it, Disney needs to stop making new cartoons for all the Marvel characters it bought (Spider Man, Iron Man, The Avengers, etc.). These dumbed-down story arcs come with some of the worst graphics/animations I've ever seen and do nothing but butcher the original story lines.
Her3tik, you have groupies.

I don't know why, but I utterly despise some shows that everyone else seems to goddamn love. "American Idol" makes me physically nauseous. I have to leave the room when my wife watches "Glee." I simply can not restrain myself from derisive commentary. "America's Next Top Model" will physically smooth out the folds on your brain. "Oprah's Life Class" makes me enraged at all of the shallow "disciples" that worship at the Altar of Oprah. (Hell, every single show on OWN makes me want to retch.)

As to shows that really need to just go away, sadly, tragically, SNL must be added to that list.

Glee makes me want to vomit. I don't like the genre to begin with, and Murphy criticizing the bands who refuse to let their songs be used just makes me hate it even more.

So I'm not the only one who likes Axe Men. If nothing else, it certainly does a lot to dispel the "lazy American" stereotype.

Soap operas.  Take your fucking pick.  All of them should die.

Holy crap, we agree on something. *looks outside to see if it's the apocalypse*

And yeah, my entire family's pretty much collective bad-asses for the betterment of their fellow man... forestry, teaching, dentistry (and I have the metal in my face to prove that one), military service... I couldn't be prouder to call myself an Oregonian.

Wait... We disagree all the time? Why have I never noticed this?
