I just uninstalled every single game from my computer.

What'd you do, install a Linux distro?

nogaems is the burden all Linux users must bear :(

No. Just went to "Add/Remove Programs" and removed every single game.

I'm taking a couple years off of gaming.

Man, if I did that I think I'd be so friggin' bored I'd probably find myself taking up crack or something.  Or end up wanking myself to death.

When did Bethesda get hold of Doom?  And how did I not already know they now own Doom?

That reminds me, what the hell ever happened to Prey 2? I know a game I bought a while back actually had an advertisement for it next to the manual saying "coming soon", but I haven't heard anything since that.
History is full of maniacs, my friend, men and women of intelect, highly perceptive individuals, who's brilliant minds know neither restraint nor taboo. Such notions are the devils we must slay for the edification of pony-kind. Even if said edification means violating the rules of decency, society, and rightousness itself.

Last I heard, technically it's still in development, but don't hold your breath for any upcoming info.

Sounds a lot like it's in development limbo, that rarely ends well.  Duke Nukem is a case that immediately comes to mind.

The original Prey was in development hell for almost as long as Duke Nukem Forever. Unlike DNF, it came out all right (if a little lacking) because it wasn't helmed by a maniac who kept holding up development to implement the latest and greatest tech and repeatedly switch engines every time a new one released.

Likewise, Dead Island spent several years looking to be vaporware.
Still can't think of a signature a year later.

True but it's still rare.  Those are exceptions to a general trend.

My roomie informed me before bed that he's bought me a new 750 W power supply.  I can GAME PROPERLY AGAIN come Saturday! Think I need to celebrate...

Also, for those that are bored today, I'll be streaming Magicite later.  Keep an ear out at www.twitch.tv/treascair if you're interested.

I just learned that, in Skyrim, I can use Mage Light to push a dragon skeleton from one side of the map to the other.  If I ever get a house, I'm positioning a couple of those right outside for decoration, well until they disappear.

It's funnier when you use any reanimation spell to do that same thing.

Not because it does anything specific, but it's just appropriate XD
