That taxidermy from earlier in the thread is hilarious... like they should be turned into image macros or something.
The Taxidermy collections in the museums of Oxford and Cambridge Universities are an unintentional hilarity goldmine. You sort of feel bad for the animals that they have to spend decades with such indignity, but I guess they're past caring at this point. They seem to have particular difficulty with small mammals, which end up like tiny gloves filled with chickpeas.
There is one particular example of a Frog Mouthed Owl that will stay with me for as long as I live. I've never seen anything, living or dead, look quite so pissed off.
