The opening/title track from Amon Amarth's upcoming album, Deceiver of the Gods.  The verse is a little thrashier than usual, but then around the 1:05 mark the trademark AA sound kicks in and ruins your pants.

soilwork's latest album in url form because it says invalid link, although it works

and this guy, who needs some major recognition. he's beastly, both technically and musically. i've never experienced something quite like it. listen to his playlist, spread the word (if you're a fan, of course). this right here is innovating on tried and true concepts, and i applaud him.

One of the peppiest yet most bitter songs I've heard in a while.

Edit: the picture makes David Myles look kind of like the Tenth Doctor. This song is that much better if you see it as being about the Doctor's relationship with the Master.
