So, my sister just came home from visiting our dad, and she told me about a conversation they just had in the last five minutes driving here. See, my dad is highly conservative, and listens to nothing but Fox News. On the radio, they were bitching about how parks were closed, and someone said "if North Koreans were visiting, they'd want to go back to North Korea." My sister made the comment that comparing the US to NK was way over the top, and then my dad goes into a rant about how Obama is the only president to shut down parks during a shutdown. My sister said that that's what happens when the government shuts down, and he insists that it's not. She said that that's what her economics teacher told her, to which he responds, "yeah, they would tell you that because they don't want you to be informed," and that the teacher told her that because "he's a liberal." Then, according to my other sister, as she was saying goodbye, he told her "she sure doesn't like being told that she's wrong, does she?"
Yeah.
