I can't bring myself to watch any news footage. Saw a few pictures, including one of a guy with his leg just gone, and nearly puked.

Just an FYI, I merged the two Boston threads.

Currently trying to absorb what I'm reading here.  I am very unhappy right now, moreso because friends people here have been hurt and mutilated by this.  I'm not just angry on principle, it's personal now.

I'm watching the BBC live feed and they keep replaying the footage of the blast. I've not seen anything that could be called graphic though.

I keep hearing reports that the suspect being guarded is a Saudi national. Then again in the wake of the Oslo attacks people were also speculating about Islamic terrorists, so we'll see.

According to the Boston Police Commissioner, they do not have a suspect in custody. (Or they didn't 15 minutes ago.)

Please don't think my two posts were making light of this tragedy. My heart goes out to everyone. I also know that many of you know some of the people hurt. I wish I could give all of you a BIG HUG. I'm so sorry.

As for my posts, they are meant to console & put stuff in perspective.

I don't want to rant like a maniac or wish bloody murder on anyone. I've inadvertently made an ass of myself on this forum a number of times. I want to give you all big hugs, cookies and love.

I also give these to every soul hurt by this tragedy. May those who died be at peace & may the living find peace. May they find the perp, bring justice & find a resolution.
