Not included: celebrity marriages that expire quicker than bananas, people on death row for killing their spouses marrying penpals they will probably never actually meet, and homophobic biracial couples who were prevented from marrying for exactly the same reasons fifty years ago.

Fun fact: "Kardashians" are now an acceptable unit of time measurement. It is a unit of time exactly 72 days in length, the same length as Kim Kardashian's marriage.*

Also, my spell check recognizes and corrects the name Kardashian. It didn't learn this from my typing it, as I've never typed it before. That's sad.

Every time I see that woman's name, it reminds me of Star Trek. Can't you just see Sulu going "Captain, we've detected a Kardashian war cruiser!"

Mine's the deeply held belief that we've been duped by the music industry and Nicki Minaj is what results when you love someone who wasn't clean. Cause you can totally see a doctor coming back and saying "I'm sorry Mr. Smith...but it seems you've contracted the Minaj... the only way to get rid of it is with an aggressive drug treatment"
