It's Twinkie the Kid. Back when I was growing up in the 80s, Hostess had animated mascots that appeared in commercials for some of their products. Think the Keebler elves.

It would be more accurate if the cartoonist had relabeled "union bosses" as "Hostess management" since they took massive pay raises and ran their own company into the ground.

Even if we go with their logic, it's not all the unions either. Only the Baker's Union was still on strike. The Teamster's Union had already had a deal hammered out that they accepted. Only the Baker's were on strike. So to say the union's were entirely responsible for the closing is dumb.

That jew face seems to be shopped from another picture and it is in a way different style than the rest of the picture. I think that either this is a poe (and he is using the face because it is such an iconic racist picture) or the picture apart from the face and texts was stolen from another artist and repurposed for this.
