It’s really easy to say the President is doing nothing when you block his every move.

Please point to a campaign where a candidate's wealth was ever used against them. Romney is, in fact, running on his wealth.

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

"The party must go wholly one way or wholly the other. It cannot face in both directions at the same time."

Yeah, I don't get where people say people are against Romney for being rich.  Most, if not all, politicians are far wealthier than the average American.  Criticizing someone for unethical business and accounting/banking practices is completely acceptable, but it seems as though the some conservatives can't understand that.

8.2- and going down.

I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

They may have a point if there wasn't good cause for the straw liberal's accusation.
Mockery of ideas you don't comprehend or understand is the surest mark of unintelligence.

Even the worst union is better than the best Walmart.

Okay, it doesn’t outright say so, but is that comic leaning a bit on the ol’ “You aren’t tolerant if you don’t tolerate our intolerance” canard?

In any case, most liberals I know do refrain from such accusations until such time that sufficient numbers of Conservatives are actually making a display of racism, homophobia, and/or ignorance.

Actually, nuclear disarmament.

Why do conservatives think that we should be tolerant of their intolerance?

Why do conservatives think that we should be tolerant of their intolerance?

Because if we don't, we are persecuting them, and that is a violation of the 1st Amendment. [/fundie]

It works the same as negative numbers.

1 * -1 = -1
Tolerant of intolerance = intolerant

-1 * -1 = 1
Intolerant of intolerance = tolerant
