I'm hoping for a Shogun III, with multpiplayer that isn't still broken after a million patches.

From what I've been hearing about it, Rome II unfortunately does not fill me with confidence that this is not a futile hope.

It's kind of interesting how Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm are the multiplayer games that I do the best at. When I play Call of Duty or Battlefield 3 or all the other "easy" games with a fanbase heavily populated by kids, I tend to stay at the bottom of the ranks; the other guys almost seem to be operating reflexively. Even on hardcore, I barely do any better.

And then in a realistic shooter where one good shot will kill you and nearby bullet and explosion impacts makes it almost impossible to fight back, I consistently get on at least the upper half of the scoreboard. I once made a dozen kills in less than 5 minutes with a submachine gun at the very beginning of a match on Peleliu. On Black Ops, I'd probably have made one kill per minute.
Still can't think of a signature a year later.

Valdis Story is beautifully hard... it's just woefully cheap in places. Shogath, I'm looking at you, you fucker.  I know you're a demon, but come on!

Yeah, problem is, it'll be borderline red then...

That's always how it is with trying to catch pokemon x_x

I wish there was a way to tell your pokemon to hold back so that they don't critical hit.

That's why I like False Swipe.  Even if the move would've knocked the poke out, it'll leave it with 1 HP.  Problem is that it was only doing a little damage with each hit to Sandslash so I figured Aqua Jet (same power only it's a water move) wouldn't do much more.  i was SO SO wrong!

On the plus side, I've gotten my Tyranitar to Lvl 60.  In trainer battles, Stealth Rock + Dragon Tail + Sandstorm = lots of beaten down opponents while I chuckle away.

It's even more annoying in X/Y. If you've bonded with your Pokemon using Pokemon-Amie, they'll land crits all the time and say things like "[Pokemon] is so in synch with Trainer [Name]'s wishes that it landed a critical hit!" I find it hard to be truly angry with my Pokemon, though, because of the cute little heart that appears above their head whenever it happens. Personally, Poke-Amie did much more to generate emotion towards my Pokemon than anything else, from any gen (including the "Pokemon aren't battling tools" message in B/W). Also I'm a boss at Berry Picker Unlimited.

I played Wind Waker for a bit today, and although I can appreciate its not-so-serious attitude, it seems somewhat out-of-place to me. And the art style is meh.

....you used Aqua Jet on a Sandslash.  Do I have to bring out the type advantage chart to get you to clue in why that was such a bad idea?

Piece of bullshit 'lucky countries' dynamic means that Russia, aside from colonising Taiwan and controlling half of Tibet, is now putting out large numbers of generals better than the spawn of Napoleon and Erwin Rommel.

I know.  I know.  I figured a 40 pow move wouldn't do as much damage.  It didn't dawn on me that it might be slightly deadly when used by a Lvl 77 poke on a lvl 50 something ground.

i know . . . doh!

I think i have changed my mind in eu4. It seems a little easy and simple compared to other paradox interactive games. All i seemed to do was fabricate claims and paint the map my color

Out of curiosity, is Fable III really as bad as the gaming community says it is?
