http://observationdeck.io9.com/the-complete-list-of-weird-sex-laws-in-the-u-s-a-1485048155Hmmm... This might have been here before. At least some other version of a list like this has certainly been up.
Arizona: "You may not have more than two dildos in the same house."
-Why is it specifically two? Why not just one? Why not three or five? If this is for some reason such as there possibly being mother and her daughter who might both own a dildo, then what about families with more than one daughter?
Florida: Married couples (as well as singles) cannot engage in open "lewdness or lascivious behavior"
-This is Florida we are talking about, if this law was enforced 98% of the people there would be in jail right now. And that is the minimum estimation.
Indiana: It is illegal for a man to be sexually aroused in public.
Iowa: Kisses may last for no more than five minutes.
Kansas: Illegal "sodomy" includes oral sex, but anal penetration with a finger is allowed under specified circumstances.
-Much like the case with Arizona this raises questions as to why is the line drawn there specifically. (Also I'd like to hear what those "specified circumstances" are.)
Texas: It's illegal to own more than six dildos.
-Well at least they aren't as strict as Arizona. Though, yet again, I would like to know why is it specifically six dildos per person which is the acceptable limit...
Aside from these being funny it really does remind me yet again how USA is so divided between those parts of USA that dominate the porn market and the oversexualization and exploitation that is so blatant in much of media and advertising from USA while still being so prude over things that seem tame by European standards. (And the fact that the places in USA that dominate the pornography production and consumption are also the most prudish places at least when it comes to the public image the locals want to have.)
