Oklahoma seems to be a magnet to those with marginal IQ's.
I thought that was Florida.
Fools! It's Utah!

Remember, most of Utah is only one letter away from "moron".

When you follow a religion that was founded by an obvious con artist, you pretty much have to be.
Wait a minute. When did we start talking about Scientology?

No no, the OTHER one founded by a con artist.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

No, I'm honestly referring to Mormonism here. If you check out the history of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, it's not that difficult to tell he was bullshitting the whole thing.

I heard that the highest level of heaven in Mormonism allows you to ascend to godhood and become a god for a new planet.  Which, if god-sim video games have taught us anything, is both a fun and terrible idea (though would probably explain a lot about our world).

"BIBLICAL VIEW OF JUSTICE" = ROCKS FLYING EVERYWHERE!

Yeah, it's gotten to the point where any org with "family", "liberty", or "patriot" in the name gets an automatic side-eye until proven sane.

Just ask Charles Manson!

These people like natural law so much, why don't we leave them in the middle of a forest, in the territory of a pack of hungry wolves.

Then let's see how they like actual natural law.

To these people, "natural law" essentially means "something that justifies my belief that all the things I dislike are inherently evil and all the things I like are inherently good".

Convenient aspects of natural law include:

  • Not written down anywhere!
  • If someone disagrees with you, they are obviously wrong and it's a fundamental character flaw rather than a difference of opinion!
  • It never challenges your intuitions!
  • You never have to experience the uncomfortable feeling that your ideas just might be wrong or that society has evolved past your primitive notions of morality!
  • 100% chemical free!

....and high in fiber! Hey frummies! Here's a Natural Law.....If you jump off a cliff, gravity pulls you down, you go *splat* and die!

Can't we just agree that the United States in general is a country of high ideals and low IQs?

Send the low IQ folks to Russia! It'll be the cat's meow. Leave the sane Americans alone so they can make the USA the progressive nation of freedom, equality & opportunity it was meant to be! It's pretty darn embarrassing when Scandinavian countries are out-freedoming you, big time. Even America-lite, north-of-the-border is out-freedoming you! Time to live up to the ideals you were founded on, US of A! *SHEESH*

Or people being turned to salt statues or drowned or attacked by bears and lions.

A lot of variation in the old testament biblical justice.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!

Why don't ChristoFrums admit they're just Haredis with a thin Jesus-coating? They obviously prefer the authoritarian bombast of the old Hebrew Testament version of YHWH rather than the kinder, saner, more parental Nazarene one. I tell ya, the Gnostics were on to something! OT God's a monster & Jesus was trying to give Judaism a much-needed reboot!

I've heard it said that God discovered religion somewhere between the Old and New Testaments.
