Our server is still irc.digibase.ca, the channel is now #fqa

To access via Mibbit, click the following link: http://client00.chat.mibbit.com/?server=irc.digibase.ca&channel=%23fqa and enter your nick.

Alternatively, go to Mibbit.com and click 'Server'.
Input server irc.digibase.ca, channel #fqa, nick whatever you choose

If you are already registered, disregard the following part. Otherwise:

To register your nick, enter

--- Code: ---/msg nickserv register [password] [email]
--- End code ---

Where [password] should be your chosen password (without brackets) and email your email address. Passwords are case-sensitive.

You only need to register once, after that, you can identify using

It's been dead for years, but guess what I managed to get unlocked when I stumbled upon the one person that was still lurking in those rooms.

Also, #fstdt is the channel, not #fqa now, "FQA" is a legacy name

Kradorex Xeron:
Yes,

I have moved to formally unlock the #fstdt channel today on the UCSN IRC Network (that Digibase is a member of) as to enable its use once again. It would be interesting now that we have these forums and the main site merged once again to investigate the possibility of trying IRC again.

For those with full IRC clients, connect to irc.digibase.ca port 6667, or if your IRC client supports SSL, port 8000 with SSL enabled.

We also have our own web IRC client: http://irc.digibase.ca:8667/?channels=fstdt

Is anyone ever there?

SheChire:
