I'm thinking it's referring to the fact that Mark Hamill messed his face up in that car accident, and you can see how different his face is when comparing it in ANH, and ESB.

I heard they came up with the Wampa attack to explain the facial damage.

That would seem a logical thing to do. I oddly never heard it before.

I've honestly never seen much of a difference. The scars were visible in "The Empire Strikes Back", but not enough to render him unrecognizable or anything, and it always looked to me like they had disappeared by "Return of the Jedi".

I could see the scars slightly in ROTJ, but they're way more visible in ESB.
That being said ROTJ is my favorite Star Wars movie, I mean it's Palpatine, Duel on the 2nd Death Star, slave Leia, and Ewoks(yes, I love Ewoks).

The Cheetahmen (the characters in the video my comment was a response to) are characters from 'Action 52', a notoriously bad AWESOME (and unlicensed) compilation of 52 "Games". Non Human is another game from said compilation, and it defies description ... though that didn't stop me from trying.

Look up Action 52 on youtube or try it in a emulator -- You'll regret it severely be glad that you did.
