Ok, here's how it went...

There was a series of pictures of medieval and renessaince helmets that were "weird." Some had been built to impress:




Some had been built to frighten the enemy:




But then...

What the hell? "Don't mind Max, he has always been a bit weird but we just try to ignore him." That helmet was reportedly given to emperor Maximillian. I assume that it was a practical joke and the joker spent his final years dying slowly in some torture chamber for his crimes.


"When I said I want a helmet that LOOKS like me this wasn't what I had in mind... Oh well maybe I'm just looking at it from its bad side."
