Yeah, not so much bickering as making fun of how our two cities are pretty much arch-enemies in everything.

That would pretty frustrating, I imagine. I used to go to school with a guy who got drafted into the WHL. The Jock stereotype pretty much fit him perfectly. I did not much care for him. I'm curious though, where were you working that you got stuck working with him?

Fast food job when I was a teenager. I probably shouldn't care, since this was over 7 years ago, but anytime I see a picture of him online or on TV, images of him being incredibly annoying come rushing back to me, and the hate is renewed.

Depending on where you live it has to be special order. That specific bottle is Lindemans Kriek (pronounced like creek). It goes down real smooth.

Last time I went to buy it, the guy didn't even know what it was even tho I found it on his shelves. lol

Went to the store to pick it up after work today. They had every type of Lindeman's lambic fruit beer EXCEPT that one! Liquor store, I am disappoint. Bought a bottle of Lindeman's Pomme instead. I can't really say it tasted like beer. More like sweet cider. Still good though, so not a total disappointment.

Yeah. The Kriek is more beer-y. It's beer with that cherry zing to it. You'll have to let me know what happens when you get to try the kriek.

Yeah, I've had fruit beers before and they actually tasted like beer with just a bit of the fruit flavour. Thought the Pomme would be like that.

I haven't tried it. I've only had Belle-Vue and Lindemans, sadly.

I did some googling and it appears that it's really average tasting. It only garnered a 77 on beeradvocate. But it's up to you if you just want a sampling of what cherry beer is kinda like. I'd suggest trying to get a bottle of Lindemans or Belle-Vue for a better first experience. But tastes differ so widely you might end up liking the Floris compared to Lindemans or Belle-Vue.

I had an awesome steak at Applebees, and had an attractive waitress with the most awesome eyes I've seen (pale-green, something I've never seen before). Too much makeup, imo, but still attractive. Tipped extra because she was really damn good, not showing up a million times but not showing up only once or twice, either.
