Yesterday, my boss told me not to mix as much bread from now on because things will be slow.  Well, I ignored her orders because every time she says that, we run out of bread.  Well, yesterday we ran out of most of the bread that she mixed (she rounded WAY down) and had to take some of my bread to bake later on.  This means two things:

A.  She was WRONG!

B.  Since today is my day off, She had to play catch-up for herself.

Realizing that makes today's day off truly enjoyable.

Well, unless she's the kind of boss to get angry when she makes a mistake and takes it out on the worker who proved her wrong and left her to clean up her own mess. In which case you're fucked.

The baby slept for six hours straight last night. Not a full night's sleep, but I'll take it!

When the person to blame isn't apparent, she may point fingers, but in cases like this she knows better.  Also, considering she treats me as another asst. manager (consider our current asst. is a complete idiot, she gave me full access to our department's files, her passwords to enter said files, and responsibility for handling supply orders), she knows not to blame me for something unless it'd definitely my fault (which I have no problem owning up to).

Got my new camera in the mail. It's a Nikon, 18 megapixels, 22x zoom, has GPS and wifi and a shitload of other features. Even has a built-in compass for whatever reason. I can't wait to take it out and get some pics from around the city. Best part is, I got it on sale during boxing week, so my Christmas money covered most of the cost.

I just got back from seeing one of my favorite bands live. Crazy show, so I'll give you the rundown.

1. I almost kicked this one guys ass for pulling my hair when he tried to jostle himself in front of me. He pulled my hair, I spun around and shoved him on his ass in front of his friend, and told him "pull my hair again, and you're dead." He behaved himself after that.
2. The one band on the card I did not know of stole it. Easily, they had the best energy of the band. Unfortunately, everyone was there fore the same band, so the band's energy didn't translate into the crowd. Probably for the best. But, I did discover a knew, kickass band.
3. I was literally so close, I touched my favorite band's lead singer. Literally, so close, she spit on me (of course by accident, but I didn't mind).
4. Afterwards, she shook my hand, and a few others in the front row.
5. As an encore, performed one of my favorite songs by them. The plus is some recent things in my life made me bond more with that song.
6. I got the drummer's drumstick.
7. I made some new friends.

I'm very guardedly expecting to get broadband installed next Friday.  If everything works out, it'll come out to not much more than the... cough-dialup-cough I have now.
I'm just going to drop my current Internet Provider since they've been "getting broadband up [my] way" for about 11 years.  They finally admitted I was in a 'black zone'.  Whatever that means.   So fuck 'em.

With luck, Friday I will be entering the early 2000s.  At least.  Woot.  Time travel.

I friggin' finally managed to turn in my thesis.
That said, I've stopped trying to anticipate what people around here want a while ago, I've found it makes things smoother.
For I was an hungred, and ye told me to pull myself up by my bootstraps: I was thirsty, and ye demanded payment for the privilege of thine urine: I was a stranger, and ye deported me: naked, and ye arrested me for indecency.
