On a less positive note, I received an email today explaining that my defense should consist of a 15-20 minute presentation (PowerPoint optional), when I had expected to spend 5-10 minutes on it.  I just got home from work, and I present in 11 hours, so I should probably get on that.

I had to do something similar with my law school note, it was a breeze. Put the powerpoint together overnight. After all, you've already done all the research: now it's just stand up there and tell a bunch of people who are largely ignorant of your topic's specificity what it is all about.

My thesis defense was accepted.  I got an A, which means that I have now completed the work for my M.A. with a 4.0.

Had a 1-on-1 with my boss today and he basically said I've been doing really well on my work, and he praised the fact that I obviously test my shit before I publish it.  Glad to see these past 14 years haven't been going to waste.
