The university's computing center has some exhibition cabinets standing around in the corridor, showing the history of computer architectures and microships. Until this point, I think it's cool.
The problem is, these cabinets have been here since the building was opened around 1980 and have never been updated. Right next to the 'modern' chips, there is a sign excitedly promising a new fifth generation of microchips.
It's gonna be there in 1990! With Artificial Intelligence!
It's sooo embarassing.

My older sister moved in with us back in August, and ever since she keeps stealing my clothes.

As a result, I have had to throw away: five shirts, two pairs of pants, my favorite sweater, all three of my bras (she cinched everything down to the tightest they would go and broke the back hooks clean off and/or destroyed the elastic in the bands and straps) and several pairs of underwear, and put all the rest of my clothes in garbage bags and hide them in the garage. If you think it's an extreme measure, I wear size 12 pants/36D bra and she wears size 18 pants/38F bra. Extrapolate from there what she's done to my stuff.

The worst part? That list up there was about a third of my entire wardrobe. I'm not a big clothes shopper. She has so much clothing she's filled up the entire closet we're supposed to be sharing, the entire dresser, and two suitcases.

She also keeps trying to wear my shoes, despite the size difference (I'm size 6.5, she's size and the fact that she literally has so many shoes that when she moved in they filled up half the trunk of her car. Me? Four pairs: Ugg knockoffs, tennis shoes, flip flops, canvas shoes.

That's before we even get into how I had to box up my books so she'd have room for even more of her stuff on the bookshelf and how I had to argue for days just to keep my box of crochet supplies in the room and get her to not let her carpet-shredding piss lord cat in. My fully-housebroken and non-destructive dog is the only animal permitted in there, thanks.

And even when she's home, she never cleans her side of the room (which, because of all of her crap, is pretty much everything that isn't my bed). God forbid I confront her about her thievery: first she'll say it's nothing I need to make a big fuss over, then she'll demand to know if I think she's fat. If it reaches that point, she'll start a fight with me no matter what the answer is: If I say yes, I'm a rude bitch. If I say no I'm being dishonest for not saying what I really think, or selfish for not sharing with her.

I'd catbox her stuff, but all that would accomplish is for her to go out and replace it with twice as much of whatever was ruined.

This on top of teen mom sister, her baby, and the seventeen animals.

And everyone wonders why the lucky sibling of mine who got into college in Arizona refuses to transfer to one here in Washington even if it would save money. It's not worth the crazy!

I can't wait to get a job and get out of here.

Oh, I can't wait to rejoin Tumblr and use the Dashboard again. And thanks to Tumblr Savior, I can blacklist unwanted posts on my dashboard.

Wait, what's that? I can't just blacklist 'snk' because not only does it get rid of any Attack on Titan related posts on Tumblr, it also excludes everything related to games published by SNK (Shin Nihon Kokatsu). And that's a fucking shame because I HATE Attack on Titan but I otherwise adore SNK's game library.

The Pokémon fandom is also particularly annoying about this. "TOUYA", NOT "HILBERT", "TOUKO", NOT "HILDA", "KYOUHEI", NOT "NATE", "MEI", NOT "ROSA", WHY THE FUCK DO YOU GUYS HAVE AN AVERSION TO ENGLISH NAMES OF CHARACTERS OR COMICS AND SHOWS, ANY FUCKING PRODUCTS OF JAPAN!?

This isn't the problem.

The problem is that the man in question is a popular artist who used his power to coerce a woman into sex (after which she felt violated) and has sexually harassed plenty of other people.

The head admin himself, Dragonneer, even told the coerced woman to keep quiet about it because "it would just start drama."

He's also censoring and sometimes suspending people who so much as talk about the matter, even if they don't name names.

Now there's a "mass exodus" going on (cheapened by the fact that even because of real reasons, these things never stick) and lots of people dismissing it as "standard furry drama."  Lolno, this is rape culture, people have a right to be pissed.

In short, furries still suck just as bad as the bronies do.

Reminds me of Null, the owner of the CWCki. I got curious about the circumstances that led to my drama-filled banning, so I did some digging and found a thread about him on 888Chan loaded with logs of conversations.

Not only does the guy sexually harass young girls online and threaten them with over-the-top violence and rape when they don't go for him, he promised the girl involved in my incident that she could return to the board if she provided all of her nudes. When she refused, he posted one of her scantily-clad pictures on the board and told all the members who it was.

I know technically it's bad form to spread gossip and publicly post usernames when talking about drama. But I don't mind as much, because this guy goes beyond "creepy" and might actually be a threat to someone local.

I feel your pain.  I used to post on some of the Digimon boards, and caught constant grief from one user in particular because I rendered my user name as "Veedramon" instead of "V-Dramon", including a lecture about how it somehow completely changed the meaning of it.

I haven't gone to that board in years.
