Capitalism does not work that way. I mean, is it really that hard to understand that plenty of people
work hard and get absolutely nowhere? I mean my dad works all his life (except for a brief period where he was made redundant) and his pay is comparatively worse now than it was before. A lot is dependent on whether you have the skills wanted in an economy for example, which may be down to nothing to do with personal choice (eg. you went to a poor school), or even that your skills become irrelevant over time (e.g handloom weavers in the nineteenth century). Plenty of people pour time and dedication into their own businesses and they still fail.
