Shows that try to cram deep relationships into the last season

Worf/Troi, Bashir/Ezri, and Chakotay/Seven all come to mind, although the last one managed to ruin both of the most popular pairings in Voyager and be a last-minute relationship as well.

Aah, Worf/Troi. One of the few "canon" ships that lose me completely. Most canon ships are "meh" to me, but like, what the hell was with that?

I'm so glad that cockroaches aren't a huge problem where I live.

Accidentally stepping on cockroaches with bare feet. That's one of the the worst things ever.

How about a slug?  To me, that's even worse.

Ugh, seconded.  That mucus a slug puts out when its 'distressed', is hard as hell to get off.

How about stepping on the back half of a freshly bitten-in-two mouse that your cat brought into the house, in bare feet?

Coz that happened to me once.  It sucked.  As did trying to get to the bathroom to wash my foot without leaving bloody footprints all over the house.  Hopping up a staircase isn't easy.

My first ever wasp sting came from stepping on one while I was at a water park, when I was around 7 or so. I started screaming and wailing until some other kid came over and slammed the wasp with his foam board thingy repeatedly. In retrospect, it was kind of hilarious. I've never seen anyone get so angry about someone else being stung by a wasp.

I really hate it when you are selling something and someone tries to haggle with you after already agreeing to buy it off you.

Why would I lower the price when you've already agreed to the original one. It makes no sense.

I don't mind haggling. It just really irritates me when people try it after you've already agreed on a price.

At least Kira/Odo was hinted at and explored during the show.  Troi/Worf comes right the fuck out of nowhere for no reason.  Well the reason was set up in another timeline but it just doesn't make any sense.

Kira/Odo is hardly last-minute. True, "His Way" takes place in mid-late Season 6, but the possibility has been discussed since Season 3's "Heart of Stone". In addition, "Crossfire" (Season 4), "Children of Time" (Season 5), and the "Call to Arms"-"Sacrifice of Angels" story arc (Season 5-6) all make Odo/Kira a major plot point.

Worf/Troi, on the other claw, is done during "All Good Things" as a set up for an unused timeline in which the Enterprise gets a third nacel in order to power a fuck off Phaser weapon.

I know Kira/Odo wasn't out of no where, but I never really liked the "ship" -- it felt kind of forced, even with all of the hinting.

Well, it actually wasn't as last minute as that; it arguably started with "Parallels" when Worf gets shifted into alternate quantum realities and is married to Troi in two of them. He considers the possibility of a relationship with her as a result. "Eye of the Beholder" and "Genesis" made it more clear that they had gotten together afterward.

However, all of those events were during the final season of TNG.
