What to do with the forums?

I can't see Prog's, couldn't see mine for a bit there, either.  However, I just uploaded my avatar to my Pohotobucket (twas previously uploaded directly to tha forum), switched from "upload" to "link," gave it the URL, and it worked spiffily.

All of the posts may have ported over, but the avatars uploaded to the forums themselves may have been left behind.

We should be able to recover avatars, but I'm not 100% on that.  Aside from that, I'm going back to thud.

I don't think the avatar thing is a huge deal. We can all just re-upload them, or host them offsite.

In any case, thanks for all the work you're putting into fixing this mess, and giving everyone the chance to offer their 2 cents on the issue.

Indeed. NSFW is fun in some ways, but it's hardly the backbone of the forums, and I'm certainly not going to complain if it's become too much of a pain in the ass to deal with for the mods/admins. CC should suffice for personal discussions/questions about sex. We could probably just toss the Creepy Images thread in the lounge and label it with a warning or something (with nudity linked under a NSFW tag; might discourage people from posting gore, too).
