I think if facebook had to pull this stunt it would actually get the coverage it deserves. After all, if facebook goes down for 24 hours what will those republican senators do to stalk young boys during congress? Not to mention all the millions of people who will be extremely upset about being unable to look after their farms that it will create quite a buzz.

Of course Mr facebook prefers to watch the money rolling in instead.

This is being widely reported on every major news site, and all across the political spectrum too (even Drudge's headline was "Hands off the internet" or something).  With this amount of opposition and publicity, there is no way the legislation will make it through.  Anyone who still votes 'yes' on it would be committing political suicide.

Yep, this is even getting coverage on CBC, which has been ignoring the SOPA issue for some reason, even though it would affect us here in Canada too, I'm pretty sure.

English Wikipedia, Craigslist and BoingBoing are down, reddit, and imgur are set to go down in 2 hours

Google, Mozilla, Grooveshark, Wordpress, and countless other websites, have all put up notices on their frontpages.

4chan has put black spoiler tag bars over all posts, as well as a notice on all sub-boards.

Techdirt has filled it's entire frontpage with SOPA news.

Facebook and Twitter are not going down, but Facebook might do something.

I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about YouTube, considering it's owned by Google.

Gaia Online also has a slight censor to it (plus a discussion forum), and earlier this month they put out a SOPA item, which is a bar of soap that lays over your character's mouth.

Bulbapedia's blacked out its main page.

Slightly Damned even blacked out its comic for today.

I-Mockery's blacked out, too. With a picture of Abobo, so at least you still have SOME amusement.
