Yeah even the ones like Bill Weld or w/e trying to primary him are pretty weak and wimpy because they really aren't that loud about their message or how they'd be substantially different at all.

When it comes to domestic politics, Trump is no different than any other Republican. They just don't like him because a) trade wars, b) foreign policy unpredictability (ie he's not consistently hawkish) and c) his base worships the ground he walks on and will primary all of them in a heartbeat.

The best thing about this is that in the Wizard of Oz, the wizard was an old fraud. It seems Garrison is oblivious to nuance.

Is that tornado supposed to be draining a swamp? Hiring and firing corrupt people from your own administration is not draining the swamp. It's creating it.

Is... is that even nuance? Isn't it just plainly obvious in the text that the wizard was a fake?

It looks like there's a Republican and Democratic volcano that is spilling into the swamp. I guess he's saying that Trump is draining the swamp of corrupt Republicans and Democrats but all the tornado seems to be doing is spreading the swamp out even further.
It's just a bad cartoon.

Trump supporters are right about there being a swamp in Washington, but their golden boy is the wrong man to drain it.
Stop the timeline, I wanna get off.

What is the swamp exactly? Is it corrupt politicians that are bought and paid for by huge corporate interests? Because yeah he's doing none of that.

Or is it the large amount of people that he hires to work in his administration that have either been fired or put in jail for doing illegal activities that Trump once spoke so highly of but then denounced them once they were caught breaking the law? Poor Donald Trump these Criminals all seem to follow him everywhere he goes, can't the poor guy just catch a break? I mean it would be stupid to think that Trump would hire people and then tell them to commit illegal activities that they would either flat out refuse to do so they quit, or do them and then get caught? Right?
