That moment when your 3DS gives you the flashing red light of doom just as you are fighting a monster >_>

*Sigh*

Some other random games - completed The Order 1886 and honestly i don't know why its getting so much hate? Yeah its short, but so are many games now...

Also playing the original Killzone... it hasn't aged well at all, even with the minor spit and polish for the HD remaster. Still, going to get through it before i play 2 and 3.

The Order feels like it was very heavily chopped up. It was marketed showing all four knights fighting together, suggesting it would be a 4-player co-op game. In the end, all you get is a short single player campaign with the other knights coming and going from the plot as they please. Plot points and background tidbits come and go, as if subplots and levels were cut away incompletely. There's a moment at the beginning where you're told to try and use non-lethal force against bedlamites (as if you're going to be in a partially stealth section with the option for non-lethal knockouts), only to find yourself massacring them by the dozens as soon as one appears. All in the same third-person cover-based shooter gameplay as a billion games before it.

It looks gorgeous and is full of detail and has a really interesting background and setting, but it fails to make a splash in terms of actual interest. Yeah, it's kinda fun. But it's the hollow kind of fun, where the game gets made to show off the PS4's technical capabilities and then gets tossed in a bargain bin before the year is out.
Still can't think of a signature a year later.

This about sums it up.

Hey, if I were to post my DS friend code, would anyone be interested in playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf with me? Playing by myself has gotten kinda dull.

So I've been playing through the Kingdom Hearts series and I'm working on Birth By Sleep as of now. And in all three scenarios, I get completely brickwalled by the final bosses. They're unfairly difficult and the difficulty comes out of fucking nowhere. I hate these bosses.

I am not ashamed to say my jaw dropped at playing Dawn of War 2 to the point of where you fight your first Eldar.

I am loving the HELL out of Hotline Miami 2.  Its even more brutal and unforgiving than the original, but its also a LOT of fun and the soundtrack is also better...something I didn't think was possible because the original's was fucking PHENOMENAL.

Killzone's idea of making the later levels harder is by including more elites, and making them bullet sponges. Bah.

So, I think Cyrus is pretty much my favorite character in Dawn of War 2 now.

I got The Force Unleashed yesterday, and my GOD, I forgot how fun that game is.  Killing hordes of living carpets as Darth Vader and throwing god damned TIE-Fighters at people as Starkiller; that's what a Force-user should be, not some braindead ascetic sitting around in a monastery like a useless bag of flesh.

Bioshock Infinite is now a free download on XBox Live.  I never played the game before, so I thought I'd give it a try.  Unfortunately, it's taking over an hour to download.
