Pat Robinson to Ken Ham: Shut up, Ken.

Quote
On the Wednesday edition of his TV show, “The 700 Club,” Robertson indirectly implored Ham to put a sock in it, criticizing Ham’s view that the Earth is only 6,000 years old.

“Let’s face it, there was a bishop [James Ussher] … who added up the dates listed in Genesis and he came up with the world had been around for 6,000 years,” Robertson began. “There ain’t no way that’s possible … To say that it all came about in 6,000 years is just nonsense and I think it’s time we come off of that stuff and say this isn’t possible.”

Pat Robinson has criticized Ken Ham for making fundamentalist Christians look really stupid, and this re-affirms it.  Sure, Pat isn't exactly a saint himself, but this still doesn't look good for Ken Ham

Being criticized by Pat Robertson for being too much of a fundie... that's kind of like being kicked out of the Klan for being too racist.

Ken Ham got criticized by Pat "Foot-Meet-Mouth" Robinson for making Christians look stupid... If this were played upon a stage now, I could condemn it as an improbable fiction.

Pat Robinson doesn't want Ken Ham making fundie Christians look stupid because he's got a monopoly on that himself and doesn't wanna share.

Like being kicked out of the ELF for being too radical.

Something halfway reasonable came out of Pat Robertson's mouth?  Has anyone inquired about the temperature in hell?  I think it might have frozen over.

I'd better warn the pig farmers to tie down their livestock.

Unless they're in the South.  In which case, let the poor piggies fly away to something better that doesn't involve Jim-Bob doing...unseemly things.

Looks like Pat Robertson is getting flak for what he said, you almost feel sorry for him.

I'd only feel sorry for him if he hadn't said such radiantly stupid shit.

The operative word being "ALMOST".  :P

Oh, well, Mr. Not-Quite-Self-Aware-Robertson will eventually make up for it by saying something dumb like "Assassinate The Gay Feminist Haitians Who Caused 911" or whatever.
