After spending a few months in limbo me and my grandmother finally got my grandfathers car, it took some fighting with his brothers but we finally got it. It's in a shite condition but we can fix that.

I guess I'ma man of simple pleasures at heart. But tonight,  right now, I'm sitting on my front porch with a tall glass of iced tea, half a pack of cigarettes, and a pretty decent buzz. Everyone else is sleeping, the wife, the kids, the dog. Just me and my wife's pointless cat Eddie (short for Edward Teach, I got to name the flea bag) enjoying the quiet murmur of traffic on Belair Rd. that filters through my ear buds. And right now, life is pretty damn good.

I got to use something I (re) learned in statistics, hypothesis tests, in my final psych assignment.  I love it when I can do that, especially with math.

This was my fourth day at the new job and now I feel like this wasn't a horrible mistake and I might actually do decently well...

A few things over the past couple days:

1. My apartment is spotless now, because I got a surge of motivation to clean.
2. I got a check in the mail from my doctor, because apparently I overpaid for something last year. Hurray for unexpected money!
3. There's a marathon going on near here, along with a decent band playing good music. I walked to town to see all the runners.

After doing some homework, I was able to almost double what goes into my compost. Next year's garden will be starting with six cubic feet of eco friendly organic compost. Less trash going out, less trash (in the forms of chemical fertilizer) going in.
