If a religious person claims evidence of god...

Wouldn't they technically be calling him a liar since it says you have to believe through faith?

I remember a many, many page argument with Supersport that ran like that.

Unsurprisingly it seems to be another 'mysterious ways' scenario. God is hidden and requires your faith to believe in him, but Christians insist that just about everything is evidence of God. Sort of devalues the whole faith thing.

"I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing."

'Oh, that was easy,' says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing.

No, because informed faith is still faith.
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.
