one of the reviews for this book from Amazon.com:
5.0 out of 5 stars - Book that got me my job March 24, 2004
By andy
Format:Hardcover
I read this book when I was around 12. I'm now 26 and build spacecraft. After 14 years it only took me two searches to get the name right.
I can't give it more of an accalade.
An excellent story with action and science.

Let no one weep for me, or celebrate my funeral with mourning; for I still live, as I pass to and fro through the mouths of men.

I've never read Stainless Steel Rat, but I did read and enjoy the Stars & Stripes trilogy.

This really saddens me.  Over the past several years I've managed to find and read most of his stuff.  He will be missed.  RIP Harry and thank you for all your work.
