Life for the sake of life means nothing.
Quote from: Lt. Fred on August 26, 2012, 06:54:48 pmD'Souza is going even more all-out pro-Imperialism. Which is pretty funny considering he's of Indian descent. I mean, if you're German or something, at least you don't have direct family experience of the negatives of Empire.Au contraire. The Indian elite who collaborated with the Brits did very well for themselves.

Quote from: terri on August 26, 2012, 05:35:19 pmI thought the righties already made a film in response to "Fahrenheit 9/11"... it had Celsius in the title, if I recall.Yeah they have those responses to Fahrenheit, but what I meant by my statement was that this film is supposed to serve the same purpose that Moore had in mind when releasing an anti-Bush film shortly before the 2004 election.

Well it's being reported as doing very well in the box office. Well this week. We'll see how it fares when another huge blockbuster gets released.Ironbite-I forget what's coming out Friday.
The movie, written and directed by D’Souza and John Sullivan, won’t get near the amount amassed by a poli-doc from another election year, Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11, which earned $119.4 million in 2004. But it’s no small achievement to draw so many of the conservative faithful into a movie theater for the kind of sermon they can hear on Fox News for free: a combination of skewed analysis and dire portents.
Quoting Obama’s whispered remark this past March to Russian President Dmitri Medvedev — that “This is my last election; after my election I have more flexibility” — D’Souza argues that Obama in his second term will finally launch the radical agenda that his enemies have been expecting (and, in its absence, denouncing) since 2008. An impotent, bankrupt America will lose its world supremacy to a newly radicalized pan-Muslim confederation: “the United States of Islam.”
The rest of the movie wants to confirm the American right’s dearest, most dread suspicion: that Obama is a foreign-bred radical. Not that he was born in Kenya and given fake birth records in Hawaii as part of some incredibly prescient plot to plant an alien in the White House 47 years later. D’Souza, who displays and accepts the official papers, instead submits that Obama is an intellectual birther: “a guy who possesses a Third World anti-American view, an ideology as remote and unrecognizable to most Americans as the capital of Kenya or Indonesia” (where the young Barack lived for four years).

Capitalism can't work when Obama puts so many regulations on business that they can't afford to stay in business, or hire anyone in they do. Nobody knows what Obamacare will cost business. The CBO already raised their estimate what it wiuld cost us from 850 billion to 2.7 trillion. He is doing everything by the communist playbook rules for radicals, and all of his early socialist, communist mentors!
The bust story is about disrespect! Something liberals dont care about. Obama cherishes the dreams of his father in that he wants the U.S. to return to a precolonial state. He mentions it indirectly all through his book. SO the bust story is just one small piece in a much larger picture. ELOTROLADO8 you have to open your eyes and see the trojan horse for what it is. This president has antipathy towards this great national. Most socialsts and communists hate America because of our great success.
