Doesn't matter to me as long as some version of this board still exists.
Whenever I hear a politician speaking strongly for or against abortion, all I hear is, "I have no idea how to fix the economy!"

I don't care what we call the new forum, I all I want is a link to it, and I personally think this is an unnecessary step.

Agreed, 100%.
I also hope that we don't lose too many members from the shift.

Maybe we'll get some back but I doubt it.

Ironbite-and yes I agree with Nicki on this.

The forums would feel really friggin' weird without ironbite, honestly.

Unless Distind is dead against it, I'd like to keep the FSTDT name.
It has all the good associations already linked to the name. I like the 'darnedest thing' part of the title. Its connection to 'Kids say the darnedest things' brings us to appreciate how childish many of the comments are, and reminds us that FSTDT is a humour site.
As for 'shit' this or shit that, I'm against it. What, are we middle-schoolers trying to impress our classmates with how tough we are?

Seems like Distind has decided that FSTDT is his brand and doesn't want the forum associated with it since he made a couple of bullshit threads, got called on it, and is acting like a little cock yet again.  Therefore, the forum needs a new name, regardless of the fact that it wasn't his brand to begin with.

So, basically, fuck us because he wants to take a ball and go home.

I'll likely register, but these temper tantrum shut downs are getting really fucking old.

Hey, there we go.  How about "Temper Tantrum Shut Down" for the new board?

@John_in_Oz: Sorry, keeping FSTDT as a name is not a possibility. FSTDT will remain Distind's website (or, if he does choose to hand it over to someone else, that person's). We will be a separate community.

If you don't like 'shit', feel free to propose something else.

Well, shit.  I've just gotten used to the place and we're moving?

I've posted so little I still get that New Car smell every time I click the Post button.

But maybe being on the "ground floor" of the new place will be cool too.  It's happened to me before.
Fundie Doublethink:
* The Bible is the inerrant, literal word of God when it talks about the Earth being created in six days and homosexuality being an abomination. The Bible is a flawed work interpreted by errant humans when it talks about loving your neighbor, turning the other cheek, and the evils of greed.
*  All life is sacred and precious from the moment of conception until the moment of birth.
* You're not a sexist.  You just think women are nothing but baby machines and servants.

I've enjoyed being on this forum, so i'll definitely grace the new one with my presence.

I've tried to think of names for the new forum, but for some reason my brain is stuck on bad Mad Max puns like "Welcome to the FundieDome" and "Beyond the FundieDome".

Not sure why, it's not like i've even watched Mad Max recently :/

Shitty Mad Max puns aside, I think it would be a laugh to have a name with an acronym like SATAN, just to disturb any fundies that stray over.

Anyway, Shit Fundies Say is my favourite.

Hey now let's keep this out of Flame and Burn please.

Ironbite-but feel free to tell us all how you really feel in the subsequent Flame and Burn thread I'm about to create.

I agree the 'shit' thing sounds juvenile.

How about just "Fundies".
