Only earth ponies could turn something like a rock into a small thermonuclear weapon.

Considering Dash Sonic Rain-nuked AJ's old barn in Season 2, I'm not that surprised.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

Yeah, this was bound to happen.
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

I don't know why I occasionally come to this thread. Perhaps it is bile interest in the fandom itself and how fans in this forum follow this show. I myself - I have said this before and I will say it again - tried to like this show because I do not totally despise of anything cute or "kawaii" - as those damned "Weebs" have been saying since their obsession with Naruto and Bleach and those lousy animesque shows Cartoon Network used to air (save for Teen Titans, which I only hope was as good as I remembered it) referred to everything "cute" as.

While I was unable to enjoy the show thoroughly all I can say is that I feel sorry for all the decent fans of the show, and even more sorry for those who still use that horrible "Brony" label. I really, really, genuinely do. I can say this because the worst fandoms I am in are the Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokémon series.

Much like how the fandumb of MLP:FiM sexualize its female cast from Hell and back (I still fail to understand Chrystalis fans who non-jokingly want to fuck her), the Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokémon fandoms are just as bad about this (The Pokémon fandom is particularly bad about this), and the terrible OCs.

All I am saying is that the reason is Edge of Perspective, which is why I am not anywhere as hostile as most people I know (who dislike this show so much). I am in love with two video game series with horrible fandoms. But even so, these works are decades old. This show is almost four years old, and I simply find it inscrutable how this fandom spiraled out of control so soon.

AND THIS IS A SHOW THAT TEACHES YOUNG GIRLS TO VALUE THEMSELVES FOR WHO THEY ARE AND OTHERS, AND THERE IS NO REASON IT HAS TO HAVE A SOCIOPATHIC FANDOM THAT DEMONIZES NON-WHITES, FEMINISM AND WOMEN'S RIGHTS, HOMOSEXUALITY, TRANSGENDERED PEOPLE, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HANDICAPS, THE BODY TYPES OF OTHERS, NON-FANS, ALMOST EVERYTHING. TELL ME WHY!? OUTSIDE OF 4CHAN AND THAT HORRIBLE SPIN-OFF BOARD /MLP/.

Excuse me. The fact that a show like this is dominated by sociopaths, notably hyper-masculine, insecure bullies, enrages me beyond comprehension.
Dude, have a snickers.

Honestly, you're expecting the honorable fuckwads of 4chan and /mlp/ to act like something other than /b/tards for what reason? This is the internet. Nothing is sacred, everything is pornography.

But really seriously:

I find it so fucking hilarious that these people are crying over this shit.

Once again, why identify as a "Brony", when it was originally an derogatory term to define these homophobic, insecure fuckwits when you can use other names?

Most people probably don't put much thought into it. It's just what caught on as a nickname for pony fans outside the target demographic.

It should be noted that the worst segments of the fandom tend to reject the label. /mlp/ is particularly virulent in its ridicule of anyone who uses the nickname.

Alright, I'll bite since you seem to not care to put any actual work into what's behind this and seem to ridicule anything that isn't your particular pet cause as I've seen as a running theme in your posts.

Considering the website itself seems to be down at the moment of this post I got the rundown from our friends at >horse news.  Pretty much a day or so after JanAnimations's Button Mash videos (these videos, not being the case of being works like Molestia, were G rated and were rather mainstream) were C&D'd by email by Hasbro this website appeared as a attempt to garter support of contacting Hasbro in a attempt to find common ground for the works of fans not to be taken down, they wish to accomplish this through a email petition.  This...is a rather reasonable attempt, really, there's nothing really wrong with this.  A fanbase wishes to get the attention of a corporation about something they see as a problem through a reasonable petition.  As most people enjoy making works based on something they like and want to share it with other people without having to worry about it being taken down.

Brony is the term that stuck around at the beginning of the fandom, generally once a "term" for the fandom is accepted it generally stays forever.  It's interesting as we seem to have the opposite views on what people who designate themselves as bronies act like.  As I've been on Second Life basically every day for the past 8 months the general "brony" there is usually someone who rejects any sexual or darker content in the fandom and basically exists in a hugbox.  That is usually what I commonly see however not all of them are like that and some being rather cool once you get to know them.

Anyways, direct question Alehksunos.

Do you believe that all social justice advocates should abandon being called "social justice advocates"  due to radical fundamentalists that make up a vocal part of their base?  If not, why is it that you do not apply this to other terms of groups?

Was Brony specifically used to imply that the MLP fans are homophobes? I got the impression that it was a reference to adult (male) fans of MLP and no more. It was an insult only if an adult person liking a show meant for children is concidered to be a "bad" thing. So if you don't think that liking a cartoon series is bad the insult stops working.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!

This is the origin of the term

Also, fucking hell yes to syaoranvee. I'm starting to get sick of this shit from you, Alehksunos. You wanna complain, go to Tumblr.
