Had a chinook roll through, finally giving us some relief from the cold we've been having. We were at -18 this time yesterday, making today's +6 downright balmy.

I showed my dad a picture of my tattoo, and all he said was "at least he (the artist) did a good job". I was expecting a shitstorm, so this is awesome.

Had a very enjoyable Christmas dinner. Delicious food, followed by me and my dad almost throwing up with laughter. My cousin was trying to remember the names of Santa's reindeer, and me and my dad were throwing in a few of our own. "On poofter, on arsehole, on knob-end, on cum-bubble". Extremely immature and rather puerile, most definitely, but damned if it wasn't utterly hilarious at the time. I was laughing so hard that I could barely breathe.

Also, profiteroles. Because they shit on sausage rolls.

Happy Birthday, and welcome to not-quite-young-but-not-middle-age-either, Ibby.  It's not as bad as Timothy Leary said it would be.   Though he himself was over thirty when he told people not to trust anyone over 30... so... yeah.  He was a very conflicted man...

I came out to my uncle, cousin, and grandmother. Now more of my extended family knows I'm bi and so far there haven't been any major problems.
