I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

I was thinking that, but again, it's really hard to tell what's going on.

I'm having a hard time understanding what's going on in that photo.

That's a photo of Scott Olsen, a Marine Vet with two tours of Iraq to his name and member of Occupy Oakland who was hit in the head with a gas grenade lobbed by police during a protest march last year. He was hospitalized and in serious condition for a long while but he pulled through, though he's had to undergo a lot of rehab for his injuries.

In my opinion, they should have removed stars from the flag itself for the same effect.

47 is an odd number. Should they have removed 1/2 a star? They represent states and not the people anyways.

If you're trying to get a picture off your computer, you need to host it first at an image hosting site (like http://imgur.com/), upload it, then link that URL.
