There was also the guy who tried to rob a convenience store using a handgun. As the clerk handed over the money, he put his gun on the counter while putting the money in his bag. Naturally, the clerk grabbed the gun and, well, let's just say that guy could've been an Olympic sprinter.
There's a more morbid case of an attempted hotel front desk robbery you can find video of
here in Atlanta. The clerk was handing over the money, and it seems like the robber's poor trigger discipline caused him to accidentally fire the gun into the clerk's stomach.....and as the gun flipped in recoil the trigger was pulled again and the robber shot himself through the head.
