I have the idea for a Walking Dead video set to Under the Northern Star by Amon Amarth, but I am having a whore of a time figuring out Adobe Premiere Pro.  ...Does anyone know where, if at all, I could get the Windows XP version of Windows Movie Maker?  The one with Win7 is a worthless piece of fuck, and Premiere as a ton of shit I don't even want or need and seems to have a difficulty curve slightly lower than Dwarf Fortress.

I don't care if there's nudity on TV, but copious amounts of sex in a show or movie start to annoy me after awhile because it doesn't contribute much to the plot and seems to be there just to please people. Kinda like massive, unrealistic explosions in action films. I don't care if there's some sex, but if it's completely overdone, I end up wanting them to hurry up and finish so we can get back to the story. The part that matters.

What about if sex and relationships are kind of the point of the show like with Lip Service and The L Word? I call it porn with plot, myself.

Also something that annoys me, people bitching about Bioshock Infinite and the racism/sexism within. THE GAME IS SET IN 1912 YOU IDIOTS. SOME OF THE PEOPLE IN THE GAME WERE OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE FOUGHT IN THE CIVIL WAR. OF COURSE THERE WILL BE RACISM AND SEXISM.

Admittedly any bitching about a game for ridiculous reasons sticks in my craw.

I'm absolutely livid right now. I submitted a request to have my college send a transcript to a place as part of my scholarship application. I called that place this morning to ensure they'd received it, and they still have not. I called my school to figure out what was going on, and the woman I talked to treated me like utter shit. Told me I was the fuckup, that it's not their problem if it wasn't sent and that I sure as fuck couldn't get a transcript from them today as a backup. So I'm basically fucked, and the bitch I talked to had to rub it in.

The thing is that he has no interest in any type of toys. He has a box full of them that he hasn't paid attention to in the 4/5 years I've had him. And we give him chews, but only as snacks since he woofs them down within 30 minutes of us giving him them.

Indeed. There's a time and a place, literally, for civil rights and for people to get cranky about such things in old literature or in my case a video game showing a time where it was not at all uncommon to have the n-word flying around along with the slurs they had for Asians at the time.

Racism in fiction:

Sometimes it's just a rather realistic portrayal of the time/place. Some people are racist and in some times and cultures racism has been quite common, whitewashing it is not "anti-racism" it is just stupid and sometimes more harmful than the realistic portrayal.

Sometimes in fiction there are these things called "villains" and they might be racist. If the book is about a group of neo-nazies who are trying to take over the world I am not offended by their racism and anti-semitism. Neither will I assume that the book is trying to portray their racism in positive light, after all the book is more about James Bond killing them between one-liners and sex.

Every now and then you will find fiction with racism where this racism is portrayed in positive light and whatever race(s) are targeted are shown as inferior or just evil, those are works of fiction you can protest against.
