Former President George H.W. Bush served as an official witness this past weekend at the Maine wedding of Bonnie Clement and Helen Thorgalsen, co-owners of a Kennebunk general store. Thorgalsen posted a photo of the 41st commander-in-chief signing a set of documents for them at an outdoor celebration: “Getting our marriage license witnessed!”
Well, this gave me unexpected warm fuzzies.

Seems like he's doing a lot more good as a former president than he did as an actual president.
Honestly, good for him.

That's George the Greater btw.
Ironbite-wait till the tea party gets wind of this.

Oh, derp.
Sorry, I was a bit confuzzled.

Actually, George Bush the First really wasn't that bad for a Republican. He ended the Gulf War after liberating Kuwait despite the "On to Baghdad!" fervor from everyone else, did more than Reagan or Bush II did for the environment (IIRC), and actually decided to raise taxes when it was clear Reaganomics wasn't working.
Of course, the latter cost him a second term due to him stupidly promising not to raise taxes at the beginning.

Yeah George HW Bush was a cool guy, I just didn't process the "H" in the title.

He also recently shaved his head to show support for the 2 year old son of one of his secret service agents, who had leukemia.

He's turning into quite the little hippie, for an 89 year old. I would also point him out as a good role model for Putin; This is how a former intelligence agency head should behave.
