THEY are trying to silence Carrie Underwood!

Apparently, a bunch of conservative Christians are pissed because a group known only as 'they' are trying to keep CU from mentioning Jesus in her songs, etc.  I'm guessing' they' are supposed to be athiests that are outraged that this woman would jump on their religious freedom by so much as mentioning Jesus' name.

The problem is, I can't figure out who 'they' are, nor can I find any athiests who care one way or another.  Heck, I know a few who actually like CU. 

It seems like whenever someone brings notice to their Christianity, the only ones' outraged' are fundies because some athiests somewhere look to silence the poor opporessed worshippers. 

Just out of curiousity, does anyone here actually care if CU mentions or praises Jesus, whether in a song, on stage, or whatever?

Haven't heard much out of Carrie since she invented the typewriter.  But, no, for all of me she can sing to the public about Jesus till her ass drops off.

......"They" are trying to make it so Carrie Underwood, a country music star who came out of American Idol btw, from making songs that mention Jesus?  When one of her most famous songs is "Jesus Take The Wheel"?  Who's current hit is called "Something In the Water" a gospel inspired song who's opening verse is
