Kennan and Kel, Pete and Pete, and All That were some of my favorites.

I worshiped at the altar of Doug when I was younger.  I hated the Disney-ized version of it though.

Rugrats (Mr. Friend was the last episode I consider watchable)

Rugrats remains one of the rare children's shows in which the parents are every bit as 3-dimensional, sympathetic, and relate-able as the children.

Oftentimes when I would be watching it, I would find myself wishing for the kids to get out of the way so the adults could get more screen time.

Lots of good "Parental Bonus" jokes, too.  "Hello?  Dr. Kevorkian?"

Tank: That's because the original Doug had more Billy West, as did the original Ren & Stimpy. :3

Of all the early Nicktoons, my all-time favorites are Rocko's Modern Life and The Ren & Stimpy Show (The pre-Games Animations episodes has to be the most rewarding.) Pre-Disney Doug and the Early Rugrats are also good.

For non-Nicktoons, I love the Adventures of Pete & Pete and Kenan & Kel.
