I didn't know that F2P version of The Old Rebublic would be that bad... I was actually looking forwards to trying it once it became free.
There are threads in the forums discussing that maybe BW went too far in restrictions. I kind of agree.
Although I understand stuff like restricting races (since it appears to be only a visual thing with all the races functionally equal)
It is. Also, you can unlock any race with Cartel Coins or through legacy and in-game credits. I personally think the CC route is better, as it will unlock the race on any server. Unlocking through legacy only unlocks on that one server.
or limiting the PVP and Raids and such.
This is the complaint a lot of people have, actually. I've seen the argument that PvP or Raids should be limited per day, not per week. I can see it both ways. I only PvP or Raid (now that there is a group finder) 1-2 times a day, so daily limits would not affect me at all. On the other hand, if someone wants to Raid/PvP to level, weekly limits will really hurt them.
But stuff like limiting the chat and quickslots is just dickish.
Cartel Coins. And IIRC the next two quickslots (which are all you need) are cheap.
