I officially now LOVE the ICBM mod for Minecraft.  In what other mod do you get to unleash thermobaric missiles and kill swathes of hostile mobs with effing chemical weapons?  I'M A WALKING WAR CRIME!
The best part is that you can actually ride the missiles.

Wait a second...
I just realized that the Metroid Prime series and the NES game Faxanadu have very similar plots.

A meteor crashes, it spreads a poison that changes the surrounding flora and fauna into evil, twisted things, and it turns out that the meteor is actually a malevolent, eldritch being.

That's because they are both stealing from The Colour Out of Space.

I'm on a recent Metroid kick, and I just remembered that Samus in Metroid Prime is voiced by Jennifer Hale.  Who also, more famously, voiced Shepard from Mass Effect.

Now I'm wondering how to make "Samus Shepard" in Mass Effect, and what class she'd even be.  Soldier?  Engineer?  Infiltrator? ... Adept/Vanguard?
My vote's for Engineer.

Edit: how the fuck did I miss N7 day. I am ashamed of myself.

I didn't even know there was N7 day until someone mentioned it... and it was 10:30 PM of the day.  So don't blame yourself :D

Also, yeah, Engineer does make the most sense.  Samus did design and build her own gunship, after all.
Wait, November 7th at 10:30 PM? that's almost exactly when my siblings were born. Weird.
Excuse me, sir, do you have a minute to talk about your lord and savior, Hannibal Barca?

Just figured out you can chainsaw Cacodemons to exploit their relatively pain chance ( 50% ) and just saw through the little fuckers. Far better than my old method of repeatedly unloading the assault rifle and hoping to god they didn't shoot plasma at me.

EEE!  ICBM has laser turrets!  I got a quartet set up in the End to show the endermen who's boss, and its just so cool!  Doesn't hurt that I find them oddly adorable.

I was replaying Mass Effect 1 and managed to trigger the Kaiden's Silly Walk Glitch. I had him prancing around like a kid playing ballerina for the longest time. (Inb4 "quality Bioware product")

So rocket jumping in Steamworld Dig isn't rocket jumping, its just blowing yourself up with dynamite and going flying.

Not jumping just as it explodes. Huh.

So Assassin's Creed Unity is unplayable on my computer. This isn't a surprise, but I am disappointed, especially since it probably would have been perfectly playable with some half way decent optimization.

Aarrgh, E.Y.E keeps crashing. I'm looking for fixes, and I really hope I can get it working. I really like the game, besides it's cruddy translation.

Fixed, thank god.

It took seeing the horrible excuse that is the Mannimarco boss fight in Elder Scrolls Online for me to finally put the game on my shit list.

I just finished Hitman: Contracts. Quite enjoyable, though the Hong Lee missions kind of overstay their welcome. Traditions of the Trade is really the high point of that game. Also, I only just realised now that not only does the enitre game takes place in the aftermath of Curtains Down, the opera house mission in Hitman: Blood Money.

Speaking of Blood Money, I did want to move on to it after playing Silent Assassin and Contracts, but just found out that not only are the textures all blurry (according to the internet, the game just doesn't like integrated graphics processing), but I'm lucky to get more than 10 frames per second with the graphics settings at their absolute minimum. I suppose that's not happening anytime soon. I'm sad now.
