Man, Revolution 60 is being torn apart everywhere. Steam itself, Twitter, Facebook, even Tumblr is destroying it from every angle. It’s a challenge to find someone saying anything positive about it. By all accounts, the game bombed.
I’m amazed Wu’s sticking with it. After getting trashed by so many people, I thought she would have thrown it under the bus to save her own skin and keep the heat off of herself. She’s acknowledged that having all the characters be white with “idealized” figures was a mistake (not to mention hypocritical), but she really believes aside from that the game would have succeeded. So much so that she still plans on making a sequel called Revolution 62 if she can get the money for it. That’s some serious faith in your abilities right there. Or delusion, whichever.
