Apparently he tried out for the Patriots, was cut before the 2013 season, and was then hired by ESPN as a college football analyst.

He's one of those players who couldn't make the leap from the college game to the professional game--he won two national championships at Florida (both times with Florida also winning the SEC championship), and a Heisman to go with the first one, and plenty of other awards, but at the professional level he only really had one decent stretch in 2011 with the Broncos, and then they got Peyton Manning, Tebow went to the Jets and all the fundies started raving about how he was being benched because the team was biased against Christians or something.
