So! Since this seems to have taken off somewhat, I figured I'd move it here where it'd be a wee bit more visible. Basically, I take the first 10 pages of posts from a given user, parse out the contents, feed that into a Markov chain generator, and use that to build random sentences in the style of a given poster. It started with ol' Chaos, but I've since expanded to include several other posters. For fun, here's some new sentences from each that I've generated, thus far!

Okay, I can't find shit from Skyfire. Even with deleted accounts, I can usually search for their name and the word "am" or "is" and find them, but I'm getting bupkis. If someone's got a post of his that shows what his truename was, I'd love it to use it as a baseline, but til then, no Skyfire.

I think you'll find that Skyfire was never a member of this iteration of the forums. You'd have to go back to proboards or something. I remember the Illusive man was going to 'spider' them, if that might help.

Yatta! I managed to (partially) automate the gathering of posts! It only works with Firefox under Windows 7, but since I don't really expect anyone to go trying to run my code and such, it shouldn't be too much of a bother.
