Tell me I'm reading this article wrong... and that liberal politicians in the states are NOT treating them this way simply because they can speak foreign languages... Too tired to remember the full details, but here's the article for you to read and see if you can figure out what I'm talking about.

Please tell me this is an example of Yahoo news pulling a horrific misrepresentation of the political left in the states... I've heard people saying that yahoo is the new faux news, right? Please tell me it's not real, because I'm sure are other things to hate on them for...

And yet only in America, some liberal commentators are bemoaning, would a candidate's efficiency in a foreign language be regarded as a strike against him.
It's the liberals who are upset that knowing a language other than English is considered a negative trait in the minds of the right wing.

I watched that ad once. It seemed like a fairly conventional attack ad until "He speaks French". Then I facepalmed.

It's official... when I can't make sense of a news article, I take it to mean I lost my last functioning brain cell... I'm just going to go drool and giggle incoherently in my happy place now...

From what I know about both of these men, I have two things to say about all this.
1. I have other reasons to dislike Romney. The biggest one is that he seems to be a rich douchebag.
2. From what I know about Huntsman, he's a pretty good, sane guy. Of course, that's the kiss of death in the modern Republican party.

Huntsman is relatively cool, which I know isn't saying much but at least he supports civil unions for same-sex couples.

Yeah, Huntsman is possibly the only republican from the last few elections I'd consider semi-votable.
